Adjusting a Picture of the Eagles
In this example we will be lasering an image of an eagle onto black laser tile. Figure 1 shows a photo that I bought off the Internet. I am using this image because I want to see what the effect of having our background image being a bit out of focus and to see how it appears on the tile.

First of all we need to convert out image to grayscale in CorelDraw. To do this go to IMAGE | MODE | GRAYSCALE.
With our image in grayscale we need to adjust the image with out Contrast Enhancement. To access the Contrast Enhancement command go to EFFECTS | ADJUST | CONTRAST ENHANCEMENT.

Figure 2 shows the Contrast Enhancement command
Figure 3 shows the Sharpen command

Hello,
What do you paint and seal the tile with after lasering?
Thank you.

Chhman

I painted the tile with white show polish and sealed it with a Tremclad satin seal from home depot. Make sure that there is no wind or dust when you are using the sealer and use small even strokes

Mike,
Thank you very much for your reply. You have taught me so much with your other lessons also. I am now doing so much better photo engraving on wood without any software. My only problem is whrer to sell these?

Glad I can help you out. As far as where to sell it that is always the $50,000 question. But I always say the more you show it the more chances you have at selling it.
