LMM-6018 Black Laser Marking Tape

LMM-6018 is a laser marking tape designed for use on stainless steel, glass, ceramic, ceramic like and porcelain substrates. LMM-6018 can be applied to a substrate, laser marked to bond a portion of the tape to the substrate and then peeled away to leave the mark. LMM-6018 is designed for use in applications where spraying and removing our other laser marking materials is not possible or feasible. Rolls are available in 1”, 2”, 3” and 4” widths. They are 50 feet in length per roll, wound on a standard 3” core. Samples are available in 2” by 6” sheets.

When customers give us text files it is not always in the best format. But the good thing is anytime we get the text we do not have to spell check which cuts down on errors. So I will always gladly take text. In this case I had a customer that got a work file from their customer. They did not know how to get it into CorelDraw so I did this lesson to show them how. There might be a better way and it was not as fast as if the text was formatted properly to be used in the print merge wizard but doing it this way meant that I did not have to spell check.

Laser Job from an email

Here is a job one of my dealers asked us to do. This is not a hard job but he did not have a laser so we did the job for him. He emailed me the suggested setup from his customer. I also had to go to Brands of the World to import the lions logo for him. I had to copy the text paste it into CorelDraw, than format the text. The next step was to import in the lions logo than output the job to the laser so that I could engrave it onto acrylic.
